ANGLING CHAMPIONSHIPS - 2005

As the two previous BCAC heats on St.Georges have taken place in pouring rain, Rob Hughes has asked us to move this year's competition from May to June. Hopefully the warmer weather will see more fish caught and perhaps an appearance from some of the original fish in the lake. With the stockies now reaching 28lb the total weights are bound to be higher.

The 2004 results were as follows:
1st Place: Dudley Stanley/Mark Crompton - 180lb 9oz from peg no.8 on the Road Bank
2nd Place: Keith Turner/Clive Hicks- 150lb 2oz from peg no.13 on the Tree Bank
3rd Place: Joe Goldson/Mark Bowden - 98lb 9oz from peg no.12 on the Road Bank
